Not the kind of joy you earn after proving yourself. Not the “I’ve ticked all the boxes” kind of joy.But that deep-down, anchored-in-God kind of joy.The joy that lives right here—in the middle of laundry and deadlines, in between prayers and progress.
This week, let’s reclaim that joy. Let’s honour the beauty of simply enjoying the month we’re in—not rushing, not fixing, not striving. Just receiving.
Because here’s the truth:
• Rest is productive. It’s how we honour the temple God gave us.
• Play is healing. It brings us back to the childlike wonder we were created to carry.
• Slowness is spiritual. It tunes our hearts to the whisper of the Holy Spirit.
And here’s the deeper truth:“The joy of the Lord is your strength.” (Nehemiah 8:10)It’s not manufactured. It’s not fleeting. It’s not based on circumstances. It’s a gift. A promise. A lifeline.
💛 Your Invitation This Week:
☀️ Sit in the sun without guilt. Let God’s creation remind you of His goodness.🍓 Make something beautiful just because. Co-create with your Creator.📖 Schedule joy like it matters—because it does. Give joy space to breathe in your daily life.
Joy isn’t a luxury. It’s a strategy for spiritual survival. It reminds your soul that God is good, that you are held, and that hope still lives here.
✨ This Week’s Reflection:Where is God inviting you to trade striving for joy? What does it look like to receive joy—not as a reward, but as your inheritance?Where in your week can joy become a spiritual act of trust?
🕊️ This Week’s Affirmation:“My joy is not a luxury. It’s my lifeline. The joy of the Lord is my strength.”
So let June be the month you don’t just do—you delight.Let joy anchor you. Let it soften your heart, renew your strength, and remind you who you are in Christ.
Go gently,
Yvette
