Trusting the Slow Work of God

There is something holy about the slow. About not having all the answers. About still being in process.
We live in a culture that rewards speed and productivity—but God often works in the opposite rhythm. His way is patient. Gentle. Purposeful. Becoming is not a race—it’s a sacred unfolding.
Think about it: most of creation thrives in slow cycles. Trees take years to grow strong roots. Seasons transition gradually. Even healing in our own lives rarely comes in a straight line—it ebbs, flows, and deepens over time.
So why do we pressure ourselves to “arrive” so quickly? Why do we rush the growth God is tending with care?
The slow seasons aren’t wasted. They’re where God does some of His most beautiful work. In the silence, He is speaking. In the waiting, He is working. In the surrender, He is shaping you into someone more anchored, more whole, more in tune with His heart.
"Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion…” (Philippians 1:6)
You are not falling behind. You are unfolding—exactly as you need to.
Becoming may be slow, but it’s always sacred. Trust the pace of grace.
